Child Bone Growth Study Information
We are studying what helps kids grow strong, health bones! Kids ages 3-10 in the Greater St. Louis Area are invited to participate.
What to expect
At your first visit we will explain all study procedures to you and your child including interviews, measuring your child's height, weight, and bone density, and wearing an activity tracker for one week. You will receive a $25 gift card and personalized health information when the activity tracker is returned.

Finding us
Visits take place in McMillan Hall on the Washington University Danforth Campus, in Room G56 or G57. The rooms are next to each other.
Please arrive 10 minutes early so you have time to park and walk to the study room.
There are two similarly named buildings on campus. You want McMillan Hall, NOT McMillen Laboratory.
Step 1: Parking
Please park in the Millbrook Garage.
1. Turn from Forest Park Parkway onto Throop Drive.
2. The garage entrance is your first left. If you reach the stop sign, you’ve gone too far.
3. Take a parking ticket from the machine. Keep it. Do not throw it away.
4. Follow signs for Visitor Parking, straight ahead.
Parking is free for participants. At your visit, we’ll give you a voucher to exit the garage at no cost.
Step 2: Walking to McMillan Hall
1. Take the nearest pedestrian exit from the garage.
2. Cross Throop Drive and walk toward McMillan Hall.
3. Enter through the entrance directly off Throop Drive. There are no stairs to climb.
4. After the double doors, turn right, then turn right again down the long hallway.
5. Rooms G56 and G57 are on the right. Look for the Child Health Study sign.
